How does the iLaid compare to the Sony reader and other readers?
The iLiad is unique in three main categories. It is the only E Ink based reader that you can write on, its screen are is almost double that of its competitors and it is WiFi enabled. Addititionally, the iLiad has 16 shades of gray, higher native resolution of 768 X 1024.Most ereaders use a 6" 600 X 800 display resolution.
How do I return my iLiad for service?
Send an email to techsupport@irextechnologies.com. Include your name, address, telephone number, Mac address (the last 4 digits from the agaency label on the back of the iLiad are fine) and the symptoms.
iRex will follow up with an email and send an empty box with return instructions.
Upon receipt of the box, put the iLiad and all its components including stylus, power supply hub and USB cable; sign and date the UPS waybill, sign and date thge customs invoices; Put the customs invoices int he zip lock envelop provided, stick the ziplock on the box, stick the waybill on top of the ziplock, and keep the top copy of the waybill for your records.

Do the books on eReader Outfitters work with the Sony Reader?
No. The books on eReader Outfiters are from Mobipocket.com and support the iLiad, Palm, Windows, and Symbian platforms. Sony Reader customers need to purchase their books at the Sony Connect store.
